As a reporter, editor and general manager for 40 years, Rich has earned the respect of Livingston

County residents as someone who cares deeply about his community, who studies issues carefully

and who speaks out forcefully.


As a businessman, he created jobs and produced award-winning newspapers. He launched the

only successful new daily newspaper in 60 years (even while cities like Ann Arbor and Detroit

were losing their dailies.)
